Short Poem – Always you, My Love
Some days feel heavy, some pass me by,
Some are filled with people, some I just cry.
I know I’ve got to move ahead,
Without you beside me, like the heart once said.
But how do I hush the thoughts in my mind?
They circle and loop, they’re not so kind.
Of you—who I don’t really know,
Of dreams that come and never go.
Maybe our love was never true,
But the ache? The want? That’s all you.
We may not share a life or name,
Yet still, this longing feels the same.
All I want… is maybe a lie,
‘Cause I don’t know your truth, your why.
I just know this love, so strange, so deep—
It wakes me up and haunts my sleep.
